Bharat Pitchathon 2.0 – Odisha Edition, an integral part of the Headstart Network Foundation's initiative, unfolded on the 26th of August 2023 at Suryansh Hotel & Resort. AIC-Nalanda, serving as the Incubation partner, orchestrated a dynamic event that brought together startups, investors, and stakeholders for a day of pitches, networking, and entrepreneurial fervor.

The event commenced with the inauguration ceremony graced by CA Amit Singal, Founding Partner, Fluid Venture; Mr. Tushar Vadera, Head, Headstart Investor Circle; and Mr. Devjyoti Mohanty, CEO, AIC-Nalanda. The lighting of the lamp set the tone, and the esteemed guests addressed the audience, culminating in the official logo reveal of Bharat Pitchathon – Odisha Edition.

Pitch Event: Startup Edition

The startup edition unfolded with physical presence from CA Amit Singal, Mr. Tushar Vadera, and Mr. Aaquib Hussain, along with virtual participation from Mr. Abhishek Kakkar. Nine startups, including EasyBus, Yoobbel Technologies, Grassion, HOMEATZ, Oiconomos, EXSURE, Typof, Nexus Power, and HealU, showcased their innovations and growth potential to the distinguished jury.

Pitch Event: Junior Entrepreneur Edition

In an inspiring move, AIC-Nalanda introduced the "Junior Entrepreneur Edition. Five student-led groups from different Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in Odisha presented their startup ideas. FMD Prevention System emerged as the winner, while DRIFT: The Effective Rover secured the Runners-up position. To motivate and encourage these young minds, FreeeFlow Ventures, Headstart, and AIC-Nalanda jointly contributed a cash prize worth 30K+.

The daylong event successfully brought together over 50 startup founders, 8+ local High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs), and 3 investors. It served as a platform for meaningful networking and collaboration, contributing to the growth and vibrancy of the regional entrepreneurial landscape. By encouraging entrepreneurship, Bharat Pitchathon – Odisha Edition played a pivotal role in igniting the sparks of innovation and fostering a robust startup ecosystem.
